Ceramic Trullo 3 | Grenzi Design
The Trulli collection consists of a series of ceramic, glazed artefacts, freely inspired by the conical roofs of the trulli, the typical houses of Alberobello in limestone assembled dry and scattered throughout the Itria Valley. In particular, they borrow the decorative pinnacle positioned at the top of the conical roof with a function, as well as static, ornamental and auspicious. The same apotropaic function for which many 'cones' are often painted with symbols of magical-religious inspiration.
